Opera 101: An Interactive Introduction to the Art of Opera

“Opera 101” is a fun, interactive, and educational introduction for all ages to the beautiful art form of opera. It will explore the history of the art form, the various languages and countries where it developed, and showcase famous arias and other pieces with Mission Opera’s professional and nationally acclaimed opera singers including soprano Brooke Iva Lohman, tenor Robert Dunlap, and baritone Joshua R. Wentz all accompanied by the fabulous Robert L. Blake on piano. “Opera 101” is presented by Mission Opera and sponsored by the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Cultural Affairs.
