Saturday Stories At Central Library
Start your weekend with a fun Storytime at the Central Library! We will read stories, sing songs, dance, and enjoy BUBBLES together. Parents and caregivers, this is a great screen-free activity that helps youth to develop early literacy skills and make positive connections with family, friends, and our community. The first Saturday of the month will be Bilingual Storytime (Spanish/English). All other Saturday Stories will be presented in English. The Importance of Reading Early and Often Research shows that sharing books, conversations and songs with young children builds language skills. This type of sharing contributes to children’s healthy development, provides skills for success in school and helps ensure that they will learn to love reading.
