Kids Explore: Tape Town (Fall Break Edition)

All afternoon we'll let the kids roam free in our biggest community room to build the city of their dreams - all out of Cardboard and Tape! Kids will use cereal boxes, egg cartons, masking tape (and whatever else Andy can pull out of the supply closet!) to construct all of the towns, buildings, rivers, and roads they dream up. They can work independently or collaborate in groups. Tape Town is a Ford-Warren summer favorite, but we always like to throw a Fall Break edition (so your family members can join in while they're in town!) Please note: there will be a lot of movement and active creation on the floor at this event, so be sure to wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing! Also: This is an event where elementary-school aged participants are given free reign to engage in "creative zoomies," so we ask that safety is considered before bringing along any family members under 18 months to this event.
