Reading Skill Builders

A free 8-week program where kids from kindergarten through 3rd grade build foundational reading skills through personalized 1:1 tutoring, joyful group activities, and stories that invite a lifelong love of reading. Reading opens doors–and every child deserves access to that power. Reading Skill Builders pairs group literacy activities with dedicated one-on-one tutoring, so each child gets support that meets them where they are. Each week, kids work with a trained volunteer tutor on foundational reading skills: phonics, fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Space is limited to 15 participants.
