Ann's Place 24th Annual Festival of Trees: Compassion Builds Community
Ann's Place proudly announces its 24th Annual Festival of Trees where Compassion Builds Community. This year's Festival celebrates the power of compassion to bring people together and create a community where families facing cancer find hope, comfort, and support close to home. Every decorated tree, volunteer, sponsor, and visitor is part of that shared commitment to caring for one another. Taking place November 20–22, 2026, at The Summit at Danbury, the Festival of Trees will transform The Summit into a magical winter wonderland featuring more than 200 beautifully decorated trees, festive raffles, holiday shopping, children's activities, and live entertainment for the whole family, all in support of Ann's Place and the local families it serves. Visitors will wander through a forest of decorated trees while exploring one-of-a-kind holiday gifts and displays created by local businesses, schools, civic organizations, and community groups. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy live entertainment, browse the Grand Raffle & Auction for a chance to win spectacular prizes, and keep young visitors entertained with festive children's crafts. Every experience reflects the generosity and community spirit that make the Festival of Trees a cherished holiday tradition. Special events include Sip, Stroll & Shop on Friday, November 20, from 4–7 pm, featuring a complimentary drink and nibbles, live music, a special door prize, and a head start on holiday shopping. Adults 21+ are invited to Jingle & Mingle on Saturday, November 21, from 6:30–10 pm, with tastings from local vineyards, breweries, and distilleries, bites from local restaurants, live music, prizes, a souvenir tasting glass for the first 300 guests, and full access to the Festival of Trees. "The Festival of Trees is a wonderful reflection of our community's generosity," says Shannon Cobb, Ann's Place President & CEO. "This year's theme, 'Compassion Builds Community,' reminds us that every act of kindness, whether volunteering, sponsoring, attending, or donating, helps ensure that local families facing cancer receive the support, hope, and resources they deserve." All proceeds benefit Ann’s Place, providing counseling, support groups, and wellness programs to local families facing cancer.
