Intro To Improv

Improv is the art of acting in the moment and saying "yes!" to whatever comes next. Students will learn the basics of improv through up-on-your-feet ensemble exercises and games that activate their actor tools. We will work on the 4 C’s: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication. For children in grades 3-5. Registration is required and is separate for each event date. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens three weeks before each event date. Please note that failure to cancel at least 24 hours before the event or not attending the event at all will result in a limited ability to register for future events. About the Presenter: Tori Lawlor has been teaching Improv/Acting classes to kids and adults for over 14 years.
