Let'S Code: Animated Snow Globe

Let’s celebrate the upcoming Computer Science Education Week with a coding activity! Join us for an activity that introduces beginners to computer science basics using block-based coding. Beginners will follow an online self-guided tutorial on Microsoft MakeCode Arcade to code a simple animated snow globe using drag-and-drop coding blocks. Staff will be on hand to answer questions. For children in grades 3-5 who are new to the Microsoft MakeCode Arcade platform. Registration is required. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, November 12. Please note that failure to cancel at least 24 hours before the event or not attending the event at all will result in a limited ability to register for future events.
