Explorers Club

Explorer Saturdays Club is a relaxed, drop-in style makerspace experience for kids ages 5+ held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students can freely explore creativity, technology, engineering, art, and design in a fun and social environment designed around curiosity-driven learning and hands-on discovery. Each week, students can move between activities including giant building toys, LEGO, Magnatiles, board games, art stations, stop motion animation, Scratch game coding, 3D design software, and more, all with guidance and support from MakeInspires staff. In addition to open maker time, each session also features an optional STEAM challenge or featured project for students who want an extra activity to dive into. Unlike a traditional class, Explorer Saturdays Club are designed to encourage independent exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction in a welcoming makerspace community.
