Wed, Sep 9: Book Talk: The Last Free Women, 7 pm Join NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell as she moderates a powerful conversation about The Last Free Women , exploring the extraordinary stories of Afghan women, escape, resilience, and the fight for freedom. Thu, Sep 10: Fall Discovery Fair, 3 pm Explore everything the Meyerson JCC has to offer this fall at the Discovery Fair, with opportunities to meet instructors, discover programs, and find your way into the community. Mon, Sep 14: Fall Children’s Classes Begin, 9 am Fall children’s classes begin September 14 at the Meyerson JCC, with engaging programs designed to help kids learn, play, create, and connect. Yoga + Tai Chi Classes Begin: Yoga and Tai Chi classes offer a welcoming way to build strength, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness. Tue, Sep 15 Tashlich in Riverside Park, 11 am Join us for this meaningful Rosh Hashanah tradition of reflection, renewal, and community by the water. Gallery Opening: A Taste of Belonging, 6pm: This new JCC gallery exhibition explores how food reflects Israeli identity, memory, culture, and connection. Thu, Sep 24: 20s + 30s Annual Sukkot Party, 7 pm Celebrate Sukkot with the JCC’s 20s + 30s community at a festive evening of drinks, connection, and holiday fun in the sukkah. Mon, Sep 28: Wechsler Center presents Coffee House in the Sukkah,  3:30 pm Enjoy a warm, relaxed gathering with coffee, conversation, and community in the festive setting of the sukkah. Tue, Sep 29: Film | To Be a Jew: Frank Lowy In His Own Words | 7 pm Discover the remarkable life, legacy, and personal story of businessman and philanthropist Frank Lowy through an intimate documentary portrait. Wed, Sep 30: Infant + Toddler Sukkot Party | 11 am Celebrate Sukkot with little ones through festive activities, songs, play, and a joyful gathering for families.
