Esther Crow- Pollinator Puppet Making
In this workshop, Esther and her puppet, Bernie the Bee, will assist kids in creating bee, bat and butterfly puppets and will teach about how these creatures pollinate many of the fruits and vegetables we eat, and how important they are to maintaining healthy ecosystems. Materials will be provided, but kids are encouraged to bring recycled toilet paper and paper towel rolls for the base of the puppets, and any other recycled/upcycled materials such as colored paper, fabric scraps, beads, sequins, pipe cleaners etc. Esther will also encourage kids to name their puppets and give them voices. Audience: Children, Pre-schoolers (3-5 years), School Age (6-12 years) Assistive Listening and ASL ASL interpretation and real-time captioning (CART) are available upon request.
