Ballerina Boys is a portrait of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (The Trocks), an all-male ballet company known worldwide for blending classical technique with comedy and satire. For over 50 years, they’ve performed en pointe and in drag, challenging ballet’s rigid gender norms and championing equality, inclusion, and social justice. Inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Riots, their work reflects the defiant, creative spirit of the gay rights movement. Dir.
