Little Journey

One boy from India and another from China find themselves on a shared adventure told through enchanting dance—a Little Journey pulled from the pages of Wu Cheng'en's 16th-century epic, Journey to the West . United in courage and curiosity, they support each other and move in concert, leaping, swirling, gesturing in a spirited synergy of Kathak and traditional Chinese dance. Aakash Odedra's choreography blends the classical with the contemporary and captures the universal magic of newfound friendship, reminding us that it doesn't matter where you come from: anyone can be a friend.
