Little New-Yorkers: the Snow Man: a True Story

Happy Earth Month, Little New-Yorkers! Billy Barr lived alone in the mountains of Colorado. Day after day and year after year, he measured the snow around him, recording the data in his notebook. In The Snow Man, written by Jonah Winter and illustrated by Jeanette Winter, we’ll hear how Billy’s records led to important discoveries in climate science! After the story, make your own scientist’s notebook from recycled materials!  Join us every Tuesday and Friday at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
