Neuro-Inclusive Family Fun

The Whitney welcomes families with neurodivergent children for a sensory-friendly visit to the museum galleries. Participants can explore the Museum in a low-sensory environment before it opens to the public and take part in a hands-on artmaking studio activity. The program begins at 9:30 am and is led by educator Stina Puotinen. From 9:30 to 10:30 am, the galleries will be closed to the public to support a quieter experience. Fidgets and noise-cancelling headphones will be available. This event is free but registration is required. If you have questions regarding the event or have other access requests, please email AccessFeedback@whitney.org or call (646)-666-5574 within two week’s notice (relay calls welcome).
