No Excuses, No Limits

About the Show Get ready for a dance party! The b-boys of ILL-Abilities™ are flying in from four continents to bust expectations with moves so sick your head will spin. After wowing the world at the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris, nothing can stop this international all-star crew! Upending stereotypes and flipping disability into pure power, their boisterous blend of breaking and autobiographical storytelling centers self-determination and proves that there are No Excuses, No Limits to what they are capable of. Things to Know ILL-Abilities gets its name from the custom in hip-hop culture of using a negative term to describe something positive. Rather than meaning “sick” or “unwell,” the “ill” in ILL-Abilities refers to the incredible, intricate talent of its crew members. Members of the ILL-Abilities crew hail from seven countries across the globe: Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, the Netherlands, South Korea and the U.S. The entire ILL-Abilities crew performed at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Paralympics! Additionally, four members performed during the 2024 Olympic breaking competition—a true sign of hip-hop’s inclusivity. About the Artists The ILL-Abilities™ crew came together in 2007 with the goal of competing and performing internationally. With positive attitudes and unique dance moves, they encourage audiences everywhere to do anything they want “their own way.” Today, ILL-Abilities continues to inspire awe and optimism, sharing their stories with motivational entertainment programs and theatrical dance performances worldwide.
