STEAM for Kids: Make Your Own Comics: with Pixton

Create your own Dog Man in this digital storytelling workshop! Have you ever finished a graphic novel and wished you could write the next chapter? Or maybe you have a hilarious idea for a new hero but don't know where to start.  Join us for a workshop where you will learn to use Pixton to make your imagination come to life.  With thousands of customizable characters, expressive poses, and cinematic backgrounds, you have everything you need to share your ideas with the world! We'll start with a quick crash course ont eh Pixton database.  Once you've got the basics, it's time to create! At the end of the session, creators who want to show off their work will be able to project their comics on the big screen to share their stories with their peers! Must bring your library card to participate. Audience: Children, School Age (6-12 years) Assistive Listening and ASL ASL interpretation and real-time captioning (CART) are available upon request.
