STEAM, STEAM for Kids: Summer Adventure: Magnetic Metro

This event will take place in person at the Webster Library. Join staff from the Webster Library for an exciting, hands-on program building our own MagLev (Magnetic Levitation) subway trains. We'll explore the science and engineering behind magnetic forces and how they are used in transportation. Then we'll make and decorate our own subway cars that we can "drive" using magnetic wands! For children ages 5-10 Please Note: First-come, first served. Limited to 12 children plus caregiver(s). Ticket required for entry. Tickets will be available at the circulation desk starting 15 min before the program. This program will take place on the third floor.
