Summer at the Library: Summer Adventure: Juneteenth Family Day @ Marcus Garvey Park
Join staff from Harlem Library, and our community partners, for a morning of music, art, and activities! This is our offical kick-off to our Summer Learning adventure! INCLUDING! Free book giveaways to kick-off summer reading fun! PLUS! 11AM Urban Stages performance on the Richard Rogers Stage: Juneteenth Sounds of Freedom All ages welcome! FREE! LOCATION: Marcus Garvey Park “Passive Lawn” at the NW Corner of Mt. Morris and 124th St. with a performance at the Richard Rogers Stage SCHOOL GROUPS: School groups are welcome to the 11am performance ONLY, but please RSVP to andreagrassi@nypl.org. Groups that do not RSVP will not be guaranteed a take-home activity bag. First come, first served basis. Audience: Children, School Age (6-12 years) Assistive Listening and ASL Assistive listening devices available ASL interpretation and real-time captioning (CART) are available upon request.
