Summer Dig and Create

This summer we invite families to discover artifacts across time in our simulated archaeological dig experience, then explore and create in our studio during Monday afternoon drop-in sessions. Families may encounter different art-making activities inspired by striking artworks on view, such as experimental printmaking, mixed-media collages, abstract watercolor paintings, or whimsical sculpture projects. The archaeological dig will be open for drop-in from 2 – 4 pm, while the studio art project will be open for drop-in from 2:30 – 4:30 pm. This program is being offered: July 13, July 20, July 27 and August 3. Included with Museum Admission; admission is free for children 18 and under.
