Sunday Story Time: Lila and the Jack-O'-Lantern: Halloween Comes to America

Happy Halloween, Little New-Yorkers! Today we are reading Lila and the Jack-o’-Lantern written by Nancy Churnin and illustrated by Anneli Bray. When Lila moves from Ireland to the United States, she’s not sure how she will continue her favorite Halloween tradition of carving a face into a turnip with her siblings. Come here Lila’s story and make your own Jack-o’-Lantern craft!  Join us every Sunday in person at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
