Sunday Story Time: Revolutionary Prudence Wright: Leading the Minute Women in the Fight for Independence

This month we are celebrating The Historical’s new Revolutionary Women exhibition with stories of women who left their mark on the American Revolution. Today we’ll discover the exciting story of the brave Minute Women of Pepperell, Massachusetts in Revolutionary Prudence Wright, written by Beth Anderson and illustrated by Susan Reagan. When the British approached, Prudence rallied the women to protect the bridge that led into town! After the story, we’ll make a lantern craft, inspired by the one Prudence carried on that fateful night!  Join us every Sunday in person at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
