Sunday Story Time: ’Twas the Night Before Pride
Happy Pride Month! This Sunday we’ll be reading ’Twas the Night Before Pride, written by Joanna McClintick and illustrated by Juana Medina. As a family packs snacks and creates banners for the annual Pride Parade in New York City, they look back on the history of the special day, how people have been working for decades to spread love and acceptance. The family agrees that the very best part of Pride is being yourself! After the story, we’ll make our own colorful crowns to celebrate our own special selves! Join us every Sunday in person at the Museum for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do after the story.
