Young Readers Book Club

Join us for an in-person Young Readers Book Club. Children will take turns reading from the selected book, and we will also play Mad Libs. This program is for children in K-2nd grades who can read on their own, but are still learning. We will read books around the same reading levels as Owl Diaries, My Weird School, and other transitional chapter books. This book club is an encouraging space to learn new vocabulary words and practice reading aloud! Copies of the book will be provided. You may bring a snack of your own or eat a snack provided by the library. Registration is appreciated but not required. Assistive Listening and ASL ASL interpretation and real-time captioning (CART) are available upon request. Please submit your request via this form or contact the hosting library at least two weeks in advance.
