Culture Pass Presents: The Queens' Mother Goose by CreArtBox

Join Josefina Urraca, co-founder of CreArtBox, at this new multidisciplinary piano performance that reimagines Maurice Ravel’s Ma mère l’Oye (Mother Goose Suite) through the perspective of an immigrant mother raising her child in Queens. Created and performed by pianist Josefina Urraca, the project blends classical piano, bilingual storytelling, and gentle visual projections inspired by everyday family life in the borough. While the music is classical, the performance brings an entirely new artistic perspective through an original narrative, spoken text, and visual material rooted in Queens’ multicultural landscape.
