ASC Culture Blocks Clayworks Pottery Workshop

Join Clayworks for this hands-on clay making workshop! A Clayworks teaching artist will give step by step instructions on how to pinch, coil, slip and score your way to a completed project of their choice. All materials and supplies will be provided. Recommended for ages 3 and up (young children will need assistance from their caregivers). Projects will travel to Clayworks after the program to be glazed and fired before being returned to the library for pickup. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery. This workshop is sponsored by Culture Blocks— a community partnership between ASC, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to bring arts and cultural experiences closer to where residents live. Culture Blocks is funded by Mecklenburg County. Want to be notified about future events? Subscribe to our newsletter here .
