Tweens Create: Sharpie Tie Dye Inspired by Patrick Dean Hubbell
Celebrate Native American History Month by creating art inspired by the paint fabric art by Patrick Dean Hubbell. A proud Dine', the Navajo's name for their people and culture, he uses painting and textiles to celebrate his culture and share the stories and patterns important to his community. His artwork helps young people understand how Native traditions continue to inspire creativity today. Materials include permanent markers and rubbing alcohol to create vibrant patterns for use by all participants.
