Bilingual Family Storytime in English and Spanish

Join us at the Freed-Montrose Neighborhood Library for a unique bilingual storytime celebrating family, food, and tradition. Local teen Kamila Galindo Amador will share My Sister’s Quinceañera by Delia Ruiz, illustrated by Elisa Chavarri, and Please Pass the Tamales! by Silvia López, illustrated by Mirelle Ortega. A hands-on craft will follow. Kamila is a participant in the Young Ambassadors Program at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino.
