Children'S Program: We Are Saplings Yoga & Storytime

This is a children’s yoga class and interactive storytime that helps children understand big feelings and practice simple tools to manage them. Through movement, breathwork and affirmations, children learn these tools in a playful, supportive environment. Children should bring a yoga mat or towel and water bottle. Dress comfortably to stretch and move! Ages: 4-7 Registration is requested. *When registering, please use your child's name*. Feel free to attend even if you didn't register. Preference will be given to Rutherford residents. If you live out of town, please fill out the out of town waiting list by clicking here! If you live in Rutherford, please continue to fill out the form, and if the event reaches capacity, you'll be placed on the waiting list. The library has implemented a 3-strikes attendance policy. Effective June 1, 2026, patrons who register for a program and fail to attend or cancel their reservation three times will be barred from signing up for the library's events for a period of six months.
