Intro to Lego Robotics

Intro to Robotics is an 12-weeks introductory course designed to make learning fun for kids! This course focuses on robotics, engineering, coding, physics, and math. Throughout this course, children will use LEGO pieces to construct their own robots and learn to control them using simple computer programs. Our teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning experiences. Kids will actively engage in building and programming their robots, gaining practical insights into how math and science concepts apply in real life. Following the STEAM approach, our classes integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to foster problem-solving abilities and encourage creativity. Kids will discover the interconnectedness of these subjects and their applications in solving real-world challenges. Through the process of building and coding robots, children will develop essential problem-solving skills and nurture their creativity. They will also gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for subjects such as math, science, and physics. The Intro to Robotics course serves as an excellent introduction to the exciting world of robotics and STEM for your child. Many parents choose Robotics because it provides an enjoyable avenue for kids to acquire crucial skills that are valuable both now and in the future. *Make-ups and cancelations: Only one make-up class per month is allowed with a 24hr cancellation notice. Late cancellation fee: If a client provides less than 24 hours notice and wishes to schedule a makeup class, 50% of the class fee will be charged and processed through their Sawyer account. *One-time Payment: Parents can make a full, upfront payment via Check, Zelle, or Cash, avoiding the 3% processing fee from HiSawyer.
