Poetry Night (Ages 10 - 15)

Youth Poetry Night (Ages 10–15) Join us at the library for an evening of poetry led by teen poet Jason! Through poetry writing, group readings, and creative activities, participants will have the opportunity to explore poetry and express themselves. Feel free to bring an original poem or a favorite poetry book to share, or simply come ready to have fun! Poetry books will also be available at the library for participants to explore. About the Instructor Jason is a high school senior who is passionate about writing and performing poetry. He has received multiple poetry awards, and his recent work was published in this year's Dodge Poetry Youth Anthology. He is excited to share his love of poetry with young writers in the community and inspire them to explore their own creativity. Best suited for children ages 10 - 15.
