Named a USA Today Woman of the Year and in Forbes' Accessibility 200 list, Lachi has built a multifaceted career at the intersection of music, storytelling, fashion, and disability advocacy. Born legally blind, she is the founder of the U.N.-recognized RAMPD, which works to make the music industry more inclusive for creators and professionals with disabilities. Her work spans media, literature, and culture, from her PBS series Renegades to her award-winning book I Identify as Blind and her co-production of the GRAMMY-nominated album The Colors in My Mind . Events for Youth & Families programs are made possible through generous support from the Estate of Pearl S. Reuillard in memory of her parents Yetta and Louis Schwartz.
